Profile

A jellyfish-like newborn Digimon whose physical form is the simplest and most primitive of all Digimon species. It lives in or around the water, and the composition of its body is similar to cellular ectoplasm. Its simple form was an object of interest for researchers exploring the origins of Digimon, who proposed that Poyomon could be a "missing link" between Digimon and simpler forms of digital life. It is sometimes mistaken for a ghost; curiously, there have been cases of Poyomon exerting some control over simple-minded people by placing its body over their head.
