Profile
Hi-VisionMonitamon is an Adult-level Digimon of the Monitamon-species. Its Digicore contains data on the most advanced kinds of digital displays, making its screen capable of displaying images in the best available picture quality, where Monitamon's screen is still on the level of that of a CRT monitor. Their information-gathering abilities are stronger as well, with the antennae on their heads being able to pick up all manner of signals and broadcast information to its allies on a frequency that's difficult to crack. The weapon Hi-Vision Monitamon carries in its hand is known as the "Denjimaru", and is used to both counter an opponent's attacks and release its own elemental ninjutsus.
Since Hi-VisionMonitamon's abilities are superior to a Monitamon's in every way, including strength, it could be considered the higher-ranking "jounin" to the Monitamons' lower-ranking "chuunin". They often coordinate groups of Monitamon, and are usually highly-respected by their lesser evolved counterparts. Because of its skills in stealth and information-gathering, Hi-VisionMonitamon are often referred to as "the Black Electromagnetic Wave". Hi-VisionMonitamon rarely take part in the rivalry between different types of Ninja-Digimon, and so are rarely targeted by the likes of Igamon and Kougamon. On rare occasions, Hi-VisionMonitamon are known to eschew their ninja heritage, and take up careers in broadcast entertainment and news, instead.
Attacks
- Deneireppa - Catches the opponent's attack with it's Denjimaru, reducing it to particles and then reconstituting them as its own attack and firing it back at its enemy.
- Koudensappou-no-Jin - Uses EM waves generated by its antennae to coordinate with its allies in a manner akin to telepathy.
- Goukadan - Fires off a powerful fireball from its Denjimaru.
- Bakusuiryū - Fires off a powerful stream of water.
- Boufūsha - Twirls its Denjimaru to create a strong tornado.
- Raidenjin - Fires off a strong bolt of lightning from its Denjimaru.
- Itenkou - Uses electromagnetic waves to reconstitute its ally's damaged data, healing them.
