Profile

A Mineral Digimon that was first discovered guarding ancient ruins. Since then, Golemon have been sighted more regularly, living in the depths of caves or in mountainous regions, and it seems the first discovery caused a sort of chain reaction that caused other Golemon to emerge from a deep slumber. Sorcerous incantations that read "plague", "curse", and "misfortune" are written on its back, and it is believed that these incantations protect it from the sulfur that's expelled from its own body. Golemon's bodies are composed of 90 % rock and mineral data, with the remaining 10 % being crude programming that drives them to act. It seems that Golemon were originally an artificial species, animated by a holy power, and that afterwards, they began to arise as naturally-occurring Digimon. Though wild Golemon appear to emotionless and unintelligent, Golemon that evolve from partnered Digimon are as smart and emotional as they were prior to evolving.

Attacks

Golemon are large, heavy Digimon that emit searing volcanic gasses from their backs, capable of melting metal and causing serious burns to even the most heavily armored Digimon. They fight primarily using said gas and by swinging their heavy limbs around in melee attacks. Golemon have one weakness in that the restraints that cover its body help hold its rocky body together, and if any of them were severed, their body would begin to fall apart.

  • Curse Crimson - Expels plumes of burning hot volcanic gas from its mouth and the vents on its back.
  • Golem Punch - Delivers a hard-hitting punch with one of its large, rocky fists.
