Profile

Ganemon are Mutant Digimon shaped like a 10-yen coin. Their DigiCores contain a high amount of financial data, which compel Ganemon to excel in business and in collecting money. Ganemon's mustache can sense a business potential, or even the mere presence of coinage, which they use to seek out financial gain. Naturally greedy, they'll do whatever they can to collect, hoard, and gather physical wealth, leading to them taking up careers in mercantile ventures, money lending, or a local settlement's politics. More unscrupulous Ganemon will turn to thievery, but despite their greed, most Ganemon prefer money that's been "well earned", and enjoy showing off their skills in business.

Ganemon come with a built-in "work force", which comes in the form of pseudo-Digimon versions of Zenimon and KoZenimon. These possess no will of their own, and have much weaker abilities than their individual counterparts. Upon being freshly evolved, a Ganemon has only a few Zenimon and KoZenimon to their name, but as they acquire wealth and holdings, that number will steadily increase. These minions are usually held within a personal suitcase all Ganemon possess. In addition, a Ganemon's body also grows larger and more lustrous the more money it possesses.

Attacks

Ganemon's attacks primarily involve manipulation of its Zenimon and KoZenimon minions—without them, it is at a distinct disadvantage. Using its ability to manipulate and control them, Ganemon can have their pseudo-Digimon swarm their opponents, or simply gather them together into a large, flowing projectile. Its other attacks involve weaponizing its cash reserves or crushing its opponent with its own body.

  • Gold Bowling - Orders or manipulates its pseudo-Digimon minions to attack, in various forms.
  • Gold Press - Jumps up and attempts to crush the opponent with its body. This attack does damage the larger and wealthier a Ganemon is.
  • Comet Launcher - Throws out gold coins as projectiles.

Typical Size

Varies depending on how wealthy a Ganemon is; the base size is 4 feet tall, with 20 feet tall being the observed upper-limit.
