Profile

A subspecies of Dorugamon born from modification that transformed it into a fearsome Undead Digimon. Almost all of Dorugamon's body has rotted away, necessitating the incorporation of cybernetic components throughout its body. However, the application of these components seems to have been done haphazardly and without concern for Dorugamon's comfort, and some in fact seem to be restraining devices. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose of keeping Dorugamon's body intact, and actually provides better protecting than Dorugamon's mythril fur coat. Death-X-Dorugamon's foreclaws are stronger than Dorugamon's, and can pierce the flesh of even heavily armored Digimon in addition to being capable of puncturing through muscle and bone just as easily as a nail would a plank of wood.

In the past, Death-X-Dorugamon were figures of fear, rampaging through the Digital World and attacking other Digimon for their DigiCores. Because its evolution seemed to be induced only among Digimon who carried the X-Antibody, the species is considered to be one of the primary reasons why such Digimon experience such prejudice today. The species appears to be mindless, driven only by a hunger for Digicores and little else. The mere sight of a Death-X-Dorugamon is enough to send an entire area into a panic. Though they are rare in modern times, this fear is usually justified, as Death-X-Dorugamon are highly dangerous. Nevertheless, there has been the rare report of one appearing and exhibiting signs of intelligence and restraint, though these have been limited and are considered hearsay by most.

Attacks

  • Metal Cast - Attacks with its metal claws, attempting to plunge them into their body and rip out their DigiCore.
  • Power Metal - Fires a single large iron ball from its mouth.
  • Cannonball - Dashes while firing smaller cannonballs, followed by it curling up into a ball and throwing itself forward like one as a "coup de grĂ¢ce". A Dorugamon may choose to forego the first part and only perform the latter portion of the attack, or vice versa.

Typical Size

6 feet tall, 8 feet long from nose to tail.
