Profile

A Mammal Digimon with a mane of scarlet flames. Data in its Digicore links it to one of several Crests, shapes associated with the mysteries of evolution since the ancient days of the Digital World. In this case, it is influenced by the Crest of Courage, which is associated with Dragon-species Digimon and the element of Fire. Boarmon's image can be found by looking up "reckless" in the dictionary. They are are fierce, temperamental, and relentless, prone to stampeding and so difficult to deter that it's common in the Digital World to joke about something being as rare as "a Boarmon that knows how to turn around". Despite the jokes, a charging Boarmon is more often a real danger than a symbol of foolhardiness. The hitai-ate fused to their forehead is made of Chrome Digizoid; with this and its tusks, it can smash straight through most environmental obstacles, and do serious damage to opponent Digimon.

As indicated by the Crest of Courage within its code, feelings of courage or the overcoming of fear can skew chances of evolution towards Boarmon. In the wild, they are omnivorous hunters that brazenly rummage and root through whatever territory they wander into in search of food. They use a very sensitive sense of smell to search of insects or plants - or Insect- or Plant-species Digimon - buried underground, then use their tusks to break into burrows and upturn rocks to get at them.

Attacks

Boarmon are heavy, sturdy Digimon that fight recklessly. Their favorite attacks are physical brawls - high-speed charges, headbutts, goring tusks, and trampling with their hooves, made more dangerous by the flames issuing from their body. Their hitai-ate, made of Chrome Digizoid, becomes scorching hot when Boarmon is riled up.

  • Nose Blaster - Takes a deep breath, drawing in oxygen from the air to combust, then spews a blast of flames from its snout.
  • Bullet Attack - Lowers its head and stampedes, bashing obstacles with its tusks and hitai-ate.

Typical Size
